Gary Andrews is an illustrator and animator who worked on Fireman Sam and for Disney. After his wife Joy died of Sepsis in 2017, he started to doodle his grief and share it on social media. Episode 45 - Dr. Tim Murphy

Dr. Tim Murphy is an associate professor of Psychology at Brock University; however, his path was not exactly straight. He was heavily involved as a drummer in competitive pipe bands and even won a world championship in 1987. After his math degree he drove a truck for 7 years during which time, he met Wendy, a wonderful woman he would eventually marry. She convinced him to return to university and they completed M.A. degrees in Psychology at Brock University and had just begun their PhDs when Wendy passed away. In 1997 he created a scholarship in Wendy’s name (https://brocku.ca/social-sciences/departments-and-centres/psychology/graduate-programs/current-students/wendy-murphy ) and continues to raise funds to support it by running a golf tournament each fall (this year it is on Sept 9th, 2017).
